Max Aylin grew up in Des Plaines, Illinois where they started dancing at the age of three. Growing up they attended multiple dance intensives held by Visceral Dance Chicago, Giordano Dance Chicago, Inaside Chicago Dance, the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Kate Jablonski, and the Cecchetti Council of America in addition to their studio training in ballet, jazz, and contemporary.
Following high school, Max went to college at The University of Iowa, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in May of 2021. While at UIowa, they studied various forms of modern dance as well as continuing ballet and choreographing their own work. They studied with faculty such as Charlotte Adams, Jessica Anthony, Eloy Barragan, George de la Pena, Armando Duarte, Jennifer Kayle, Rebekah Kowal, Kristin Marrs, Stephanie Miracle, Melinda Jean Myers, Christopher-Rasheem McMillan, and Tony Orrico.
Following graduation, Max moved to Denver, where they are a company dancer with Life/Art Dance Ensemble and Thrive Ballet. Max is in their first season with Thrive Ballet.
