Marisela Guillen was born and raised in North Denver, Colorado. She first started dancing at five years old with The Academy of Classical Ballet in Arvada, Colorado, where she studied and performed classical ballet until she was seventeen. After The Academy of Classical Ballet closed and after a two-year hiatus, she returned to dance with Thrive Ballet. 

When she is not at the studio, you can find Marisela sketching and designing new ideas for her job as a Digital Designer. Marisela is in her fifth season with Thrive Ballet.
