Suzy Eriksen was born and raised in Omaha, NE and just recently moved to the Denver area in Fall of 2021. 

 

Suzy has been dancing most her life, but began more serious ballet and modern dance training at the Jewish Community Center and Omaha Academy of Ballet in 2013. 

 

She performed in the Omaha Dance Project from 2013-2019. Suzy also earned a dance minor as part of her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO). While at UNO, she performed with their modern dance group, Moving Company. Suzy has been able to explore many choreographic and performance opportunities in the Omaha community including: Omaha Dance Chance, Omaha Under the Radar, A Vaudeville Frolic at The B Side of Benson, and UNO’s New Choreographer Showcase. 

 

When she’s not dancing, Suzy works full-time as a Product Designer, designing apps and websites. This is Suzy’s second season with Thrive.
