Stina Hoberecht began dancing at the age of five and never looked back. She trained through high school at Colorado Dance Center in Littleton, Colorado, where she was encouraged by the non-competitive, joyful environment. During college she danced with Zoe's Feet, a dance ministry/outreach through Wheaton College outside of Chicago. Stina pursued a graduate education in Somatic (body-based) Psychotherapy, during which time she choreographed and performed in pieces on grief and faith in the Somatic Arts Scholarship Concert at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Since completing her master's degree Stina works full time as a Dance/Movement Therapist at a psychiatric hospital, bringing the joy of creative movement to people experiencing mental health challenges. Stina has danced on and off with Thrive ballet since 2012 and is in her fifth season with Thrive Ballet.
