Onyx Nightmare began ballet at the age of two in 2009 and continued their dance education with Thrive Ballet beginning in August of 2011. He has performed several soloist roles with Thrive Ballet, including Chinese, Baby Mouse, and Candy Cane in The Nutcracker. Onyx states that some of their favorite roles have been Mice, Candy Cane, and Polichinelles, and that his favorite ballet they have performed in is Clara in the Underworld, A Zombie Nutcracker. Onyx is in their twelfth season with Thrive Ballet.
