Jenny Asha Wadhwa started dancing when she was about five years old. She grew up living on both coasts and studied ballet, tap, and jazz at various recital studios located in Northern Virginia and the San Francisco Bay Area. In high school, Jenny was a member of her school’s dance company and during her senior year she began taking modern dance classes at San Jose State University. Jenny continued to study modern dance during college. In addition to ballet and modern dance, Jenny also performed with an Indian dance troupe in traditional Rajasthani and Bollywood-style dances in the SF Bay Area. 

After a 20+ year hiatus from ballet, Jenny returned to the studio in the spring of 2018. She began dancing with Thrive Ballet in October 2018. Outside of the studio, Jenny is an immigration and civil rights attorney. She lives in Denver with her husband and their two children. Jenny is in her fourth season with Thrive Ballet.
