Becca Hyvönen is dually trained in opera and musical theatre, with a minor in dance performance, Becca has performed in a variety of roles across the country and is a member of Actors’ Equity Association. Her training in ballet and tap, though sporadic over the years, began at sixteen and continued through college, where she appeared as Laurey/Dream Laurey in Oklahoma!. After graduation, she studied at the Tulsa Ballet Dance Center for Education and the Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Alongside her work in musical theatre and the classical music sphere, including as a soloist in the Internationale Opernnacht in Rheinbischofsheim, Germany, Becca has performed several season with the Tulsa Opera, where she appeared as a featured dancer in their production of The Most Happy Fella. After relocating to Denver with her pug, Becca joined Thrive Ballet in 2020. This is Becca's second season performing with Thrive Ballet.
